Easter market in the Montfort town That makes the Easter Bunny happy

A stroll through the Easter market on the 3rd and 4th of April in Feldkirch is a wonderful way to get in the mood for the Easter weekend. There is also plenty to keep the little ones entertained with an appearance by Punch and Judy and his friends or a ride on the children's train. In short: strolling through the old town and enjoying the spring-like atmosphere in the city is the motto on these two days. Visitors will be delighted - and so will the Easter Bunny!

Easter market on Good Friday | Neustadt

On the 3rd of April, over 40 market stalls in Neustadt present traditional and modern arts and crafts made of concrete, ceramics or wood, handmade jewellery, spring decorations for the home and garden as well as a colourful variety of flowers and plants for garden lovers. Of course, there will also be a large selection of savoury and sweet Easter delicacies such as Carinthian "Reindling", Easter bread and Easter ham.

3. APR | 9 am - 3 pm

Easter market on the 4th of April | Marktgasse

On the 4th of April, the weekly market becomes an Easter market. The weekly range of seasonal products is supplemented by special Easter offers and delicacies: tasty Easter ham, sweet Easter lambs, traditional Easter lamb and all kinds of other homemade products as well as flowers and floristry. The traditional Good Friday egg* can also be purchased at the weekly market. The Buramarkt also complements the wide range of products on offer this weekend with produce directly from the farm.

Healing powers of Good Friday eggs* Good Friday eggs are hens' eggs laid on Good Friday, to which magical powers are attributed in popular belief. They are considered lucky charms and supposedly protect against bad weather, fire and misfortune. According to tradition, they do not rot but simply dry out. They are often kept in the house or stable for a year.

4. APR | 8 - 12.30 a.m

Children's Programme | Old Gymnasium

On the 3rd and 4th of April, the Easter Bunny is also a guest and hops through the city centre. At the old gymnasium, Punch and Judy will provide fun entertainment and children's eyes will light up as they ride the Kinderzügle.
