At the daily Christmas market, Marktgasse is lined with market stalls decorated for Christmas, which, in addition to culinary delights, offer a wealth of lovely gift ideas for the festive season.
The offerings range from enchanting ceramics, jewellery, wickerwork and wood art to the traditionally treasured brushes and high-proof spirits. The catering islands tempt you with wonderfully fragrant delicacies and warm drinks. In the centre of Marktgasse stands the festively decorated, imposing Christmas tree, which enchants the entire alley with its splendour.
The Neustadt also presents itself in Christmas splendour again this year. Against the magnificent backdrop of Schattenburg Castle, catering and trade stands in the Neustadt also create an atmospheric ambience from Thursday to Sunday .
On the Christmas stage in the Neustadt, there is a varied programme for all tastes and ages - from children's programmes to musical performances - from Thursday to Sunday. And in the gingerbread house, children can experience, marvel at and explore all sorts of things from Thursday to Saturday.

The weekly market takes place around the Montforthaus during the Advent season.
The market stallholders look forward to your visit every Tuesday and Saturday from 8 am to 12.30 pm.
From 3rd January, the weekly market will be back in the Marktgasse.
Talent market "guaranteed talented"
The talent market offers artistic, culinary and creative delights from 28th November to 24th December. This year, "garantiert-talentiert" will take place at Neustadt 45 (Goaßzipfl).
